I See My Grandad Here

This pic was probably taken by my younger brother Faheem, unknowing to me. As soon as I saw it, it reminded me of my late Grandad. He was a fabric merchant, and travelled the country trading his wares, which meant by the time he passed on, he was pretty well known. The truest form of Merchant and the type which has long since ceased to exist.

I guess what makes me think of him when I see this pic is the arms folded across the chest, 2 men squaring up to talk shop, and the first sign of a belly...
