Tuscan Garden

Keith Kirsten called today. He wanted to know if I would teach him how to landscape his garden :) Ok, so as you can see, if put in lots and lots of effort into getting the garden looking the way i'd like it, and when I had put the finishing touches on, of course The Maiden came outside, put her hands on her hips, took one look at it and said "Right. Looks like im going to have to change a few things here!"

The Butterfly's Garden Party

I've spent the last 2 weeks working in the garden and trying to spruce the place up a bit, exactly for this reason. So that we could start enjoying our wonderful African skies and weather a bit more. The Butterfly, it seems, also thought it was a fabulous idea. Besides the fact that she now has a new play area, all nice and soft and cushy, it looks ike she also gets her fair share of greens while out in the sun. Who said grass was only good for cows?

Spot The Bunny

This was our shopping trip to Woolies the other day. We couldnt go10 metres without being stopped by some or other shopper wanting to say how cute she looked and how gorgeous she is.

I thought this would be a fitting post to welcome my return to the world of Blog, seeing that i've been missing in action for just shy of a month now. The good news is that my laptops back from being upgraded. The better news is that The Butterfly is even cuter since you last saw her :)

Yes Yes I Know !!

Ok, so i've been missing in action for a while now, but once again im putting it down to awaiting my laptop. Went in for an upgrade, and it's promised back some time this week.

On the plus side though, you can be sure the pics of The Butterfly which are ready for uploading to the blog are well worth the wait :)

Mitten Hell

I couldnt help but laugh myself to tears while watching her try to pick up the tube, wearing her mittens, and all the while fussing and shouting and getting frustrated at the whole exercise. At one point I swear I heard her mumble "Who the dickens invented these silly finger-warmers?"

When The Tube Is More Interesting

One thing The Butterfly can never be accused of is giving you her undivided attention when you want it. She's proven she's got a mind of her own, and there is no way mself, The Maiden or anyone else is ever going to change that. As my one-time friend Pam and all other Chinese folk would say, "May you live in interesting times" ;)
