The Maiden and I were about to settle down to a home-cooked meal when Rashid & Amina called, inviting us to dinner at an awesome restaurant we'd passed by earlier in the week. With Nida and Ayub away for the evening at a friends birthday party, we went to meet the newlyweds (Rashid & Amina of course, still on their honeymoon) at BoKaap Kombuis. The best meal i've eaten yet since the holiday began, and an absolute stunning setting for a restaurant. Crayfish and lobster, desserts out of Jamie Olivers cookbook, and the friendliest owners in town give this place my 5 star rating.
